Do you have to do an appraisal if you’ve only worked in the NHS for about 6 months? Is there a deadline for appraisals to be done?
Appraisals is an yearly thing, which amount to revalidation with GMC at 5 years time. If you are a trust grade doctor you trust should have an appraisal team who will match you up with an appraiser (a consultant with any specialty). If you are a trainee your ARCP is your appraisal.
