AVOIDING AN EXTRA TRIP TO THE UK FOR GMC's IDENTITY CHECK! AM I SAVING MONEY OR WASTING TIME?

I have completed my internship and I am currently unemployed. Having passed the MRCS, I wish to apply for GMC registration. GMC registration will require me to physically be in London for an identity check. This will add an extra air ticket and visa fee to my expenses. However, I’ve heard people say that this can be avoided by securing a job prior to GMC registration. I wish to know whether this would be a practical approach to take if I’ll be looking for an SHO-level job.

Would you recommend putting the GMC application on hold for now and applying for jobs first in an attempt to save money? OR Is it better to just make the extra trip on a visit visa and get registered first?

I look forward to your reply!
