Clinical attachment in A&E

I want to specialise in obg and have been buiding my portfolio towards that. However I am only receiving rejections for my applications for a non training job in obg. So now I have decided to apply for a clinical attachment as a point of entry into NHS.
Should I do this in obg or in A&E? Im wondering since most candidates seem to land their first job in A&E before they move to their specialty of choice. I would struggle in A&E without an attachment since my experience has been in obg all along.Or maybe a shadowing period is sufficient to ease into A&E, and therefore I should do attachment in obg itself.
Any suggestion is appreciated…
