I am a 6th-year medical student studying in Poland and will graduate in June 2023. I was trying to apply for UKFP 2023 but could not meet the IELTS criteria of getting a minimum of 7.5 in each module by the deadline. If I am not mistaken, in Poland, after graduation, students studying in English can only take part in an internship that lasts for 6 months, so I don’t think that I can do an internship in Poland and do standalone FY2.
Is my only option to wait for next year to apply for UKFP 2024? If yes, are there any problems in taking this “gap” year?
