I’ll be spending the next two months working in the ER at Addenbrooke’s. My visiting university was extremely kind and provided me with a lot of guidance. However, it was also mentioned I’ll be set up with an NHS email and have access to the computers at the hospital as I will be given work.
They also said its an hands on experience and not an observership which is what got me thinking that I am not prepared at all. Could someone please provide me with some insight in working in the A&E in the UK? How do I prepare myself before I arrive at a major trauma center? What books should be good ?
