Advice about leaving UK for education

Dear all, I have finished my highschool in the UK and I was considering going abroad, like in eastern Europe, to study medicine. I can also stay in the UK, do a non medical degree and then try my luck with graduate entry medicine.

I am not certain which path is more suitable. I am especially concerned about how hard it would be for me to return to UK and continue my education in the UK after I graduate abroad. I like neurosurgery, but I don’t know if coming to UK to do foundation year or residency (neurosurgery) is more challenging for IMGs than it is for British students. So I was hoping for someone to clarify this for me.

Thank you very much in advance
Seyed
