Gap period because of masters and teaching

Heyyy, I’m in the first few months of my internship I’m look to doing masters degree in the uk in pathology as soon as I finish my internship year along this I’m preparing for my ukmla exams and hopefully next getting registered in the gmc and getting a nhs job, will me taking a year after my internship to study masters in pathology and after it 2 years of teaching pathology in a local medical school (as part of the scholarship contract) be considered as gap period and affect my chances and getting registered and getting a job or will it be the opposite (boosting my chances)? I have passion for both the academic and clinical aspects of medicine what do you think will be the best route to fulfill this passion whilst also bringing bread to the table
