Hello everyone.
I need some insight regarding GMC license and GMC registration.
Suppose a person has obtained GMC registration through PLAB 1 and PLAB 2, however has joined a post-graduate course for a period of 3 years in their home country instead of getting a job in the UK, after obtaining GMC registration.
If they want to later work in the UK after those 3 years, will the GMC registration AND license still be valid? Or do they have to start all over again? I’m a bit confused about what exactly is the difference between GMC registration and license.
