Just a quick question, if i pass my usmle step 1, will I be exempted from giving plab 1? Or i guess thats the case when one passed both step 1 and 2 ck?
Will passing step 1 help me in any way during this plab journey?

Unfortunately no.
USMLE as a means of getting GMC registration is retroactive. It’s only open for the doctors who passed Step 2 CS before March 13th, 2020.
There is no Step 2 CS now, so USMLE now doesn’t help you. USMLE then is helping a lot of doctors to get GMC registration via USMLE now.
