Hi, there! Please introduce yourself!

Hello everyone!
Im Jouba from Morroco, I just graduated on last september as a medical doctor from my university (UIASS) in Rabat. I decided to take the UK pathway to continue my medical speciality. Im so grateful for this good opportunity, to be part of this community :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:. I want to thank Dr Ibreez & Dr Ibrahim for all their efforts and hardwork to help us as IMGs to achieve our goals in the easiest way.
I see myself in 5 years as a doctor in the NHS, in my third year of specialisation on obs&gyn or aestheticsā€¦ (I didnā€™t decide yet), married with an other IMG maybe, living a happy life in Manchester or any other town in England.
I wish you all a good fortune and a lot of success.

Hi all!

I am Tasneem. I am a final year medical student in Saudi Arabia. Itā€™s been an honour to be able to join the RoadtoUK team. I really hope I can learn a lot and give back to the community of people here. I enjoy educating people and helping them find what they are looking for.

I hope to enter surgical training in the UK with Urology as my sub-speciality. I spent about 2 months in Urology and I knew I could see myself in it. I was very lucky to have excellent supervising doctors. I hope to expand my vision and get a taste of Urology in the UK as well. Coming September, I will be spending a couple of months in Addenbrookeā€™s as part of my clinical training as a Student Doctor. I am very much looking forward to that.

I hope my experiences and personal journey inspire someone and give a good amount of insight one might need.

Hi everyone,
Yiadom Boakye Adu here, a final year medical student of Ternopil National Medical University, Ukraine. Iā€™ve always envisioned myself becoming a surgeon, however along the line a very dear cousin of mine passed away from Aortic dissection, a condition that couldā€™ve probably been handled had there been a single surgeon in the hospital. Even though I was extremely shaken up by his demise, Right that minute that figment of my imagination became clearer and eventually it drove me into medical school.
And because I knew where I wanted to be and the specialty I wanted to pursue in future, right from first year I started attending career programs, meeting like minded students and most frequently picking their brains on issues pertaining to specialty programs and the best countries to practice in. Along the line, a friend introduced to me ROAD TO THE UK forum, instantly, I followed them on all social media platforms and truly it has been a revelation. As a matter of fact, I can confidently say thereā€™s no better portal or forum other than ā€œROAD TO THE UKā€ to assist and elaborate on the steps to securing a job in the NHS.

Hi everyone!
I am Oluwabunmi. I am currently in my 5th year of medical school in Nigeria. It would be a dream come true when I get to work in the NHS in a few years.

I believe being in this forum is an opportunity to meet new people from diverse countries but yet with the same dreams and aspirations as mine and to share our experiences, difficulties and achievements.

It is a no-brainer that I have a special interest in furthering my medical career in the UK. I am sure to a reasonable degree that I would love to get into Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in the UK.

I came across the Road to UK YouTube channel during the pandemic in 2020 as I was doing my findings on how to get into medical training in the UK. I must say that Dr Ibrahim and Dr Ibreez are doing such an excellent job with helping IMGs.

I look forward to being part of the Road to UK team as the ambassador of Nigeria next year.

Thank you for taking your time to get to know me. I would love to hear about your stories as well!
